Here at Smoky Mountain Trout Stalkers we offer a variety of different trips. We want to offer a trip to suit every client's particular wants and physical abilities. These range from our Fly Fishing Basic Instructional Course to a Backcountry Camping/Fishing Adventure that could last numerous days if desired. Listed below are the basic fishing packages that we offer with a more in depth description of the activities surrounding the trip. |
Fly Fishing Basic Instructional Course This trip is set up for the individual that is new to the sport of fly fishing. The basic framework is to give one the insight on proper fly rod selection, fly rod rigging, fly rod usage, dry fly and nymph selection, reading water, and basic fisheries biology. It is an instructionally oriented environment. However, we do get in the creek and go after what could be your first trout on a fly rod. The trip usually lasts around four hours and drinks are provided. Pricing for this trip is $150 and $50 for each additional angler. |

This is either a morning or afternoon trip that usually lasts around four hours. Due to the amount of time we are afforded here we will usually fish the areas more accessible to a vehicle or boat. This is done so we can make the most of our time in the creek. Pricing is $150 and $50 for each additional angler. Drinks are provided. |
The full day trip usually around 8 hours long and allows us much more versatility on where we want to fish. Depending on what the client wants, we could hit the trail and get into the more remote destinations or we could also fish a number of different areas that are relatively closer to vehicle or boat access. Pricing is $225 and $75 for each additional angler. Drinks and lunches are provided. |
Backcountry Camping/Fishing Adventure To get the most out of the Great Smoky Mountains we always recommend a backcountry camping/fishing adventure. This allows us to go anywhere you would desire. Which includes the most remote reaches of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Once in the backcountry it is likely we will have literally miles of stream to ourselves. The fishing in these streams can be some of the finest anywhere to be found. What could be better than fishing and relaxing to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. Contact us for pricing and availability. |
*For all trips into the backcountry clients should be in good physical condition. Some of these trips can be physically demanding. *To reserve a trip a 50% deposit is required. Payments from credit card, cashiers check, money orders and personal checks are accepted. All trips that are cancelled one week in advance will receive a full refund. *Gratuity is not required but is the way to show your guide he did his job well. *If you are considering booking a trip and looking for the perfect place to stay feel free to contact us for several possibilities. |
